Lots of writers want to write a successful ebook, but the task can be more difficult than it initially seems. Especially since there are so many simple mistakes that writers can make that impact sales and success. Here are some guaranteed ways to decrease your ebook sales.
1. Just Throw Something Together
I've seen some really interesting writers produce less than stellar ebooks because they failed to put their highest effort into it. It's important to produce high-quality work whatever you're doing!
2. Don't Worry About the Cover
A good ebook cover should communicate what the book is about, help support the topic of the ebook and make the reader curious about what else is in there.
3. Publish the Ebook as Soon as You Finish It
This is a huge mistake, in my opinion. When you are so close to a project, it is easy to overlook the typos and little mistakes. Try hiring an editor to look over your manuscript or trading with a trusted friend.
Publishing your own ebook can be a great way to get your name out there, increase your revenue and more. It's something that is, in my experience, so easy and fabulous to create. The trick is to make and sell an ebook that will be a success!
These tips are just the beginning - but it's a great start to being on your way to ebook publishing!

Sisterlisa - you'd have to check on the specific requirements for your particualr situation. One of the things you have to look for, that I discuss in the ebook, is that many "free" photos are licensed for NON-COMMERCIAL use. I typically purchase an ebook image that I plan to use for cover or inside art, OR take my own...just so that I'm staying on the safe side of the law. I'm a hugely stickler for copyright issues, words or images alike.

Hi Ang, I was wondering.. many stock photo sites only allow a certain number of impressions for print projects, what are the specifics on how many digital impressions one can sell using the stock photos on a cover?
